Jonathan Edwards (1703 – 1758) was a leading American theologian and Congregational preacher from Connecticut.  His philosophy was influenced by Calvinist and Puritan theology.

This week’s text is his sermon The Christian Pilgrim (1733), in which he argues that Christians should view their lives on earth as a journey to heaven.
