Debralee Frederick’s blog is one of several from the University of Michigan’s Medical School. She is from Brooklyn, NY and is currently a third year (M3) medical student.  Her blog chronicles her experiences in medical school.  Reading through the archives of her blog is a great way for aspiring physicians to get a preview of life in medical school.

The Manila Bulletin of the Philippines was founded in 1900 and is that country’s second oldest newspaper.  The Philippines is a group of islands in southwest Asia with a population of approximately 90-million. Manila, its capital city, has a population of approximately 11.6-million.  Its current president, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, completed her predecessor’s term of office and then, in June 2004, was elected to a six-year term.
